Service Agreement

Clause 1

ScrivaLens provides AI-assisted manuscript pre-submission analysis with human editorial supervision. Services are delivered as structured PDF reports identified by a unique Tracking Number (TN) in the format SL-YYYYMMDD-XXXX-Vn.

What ScrivaLens does: AI authorship detection, coherence analysis (IMRaD), internal data consistency check, COPE & ethics compliance, AI declaration consistency, reference quality flag, figure/table consistency, self-citation analysis, statistical completeness flag, version comparison (Improvement Analysis).

What ScrivaLens does NOT do: Translation, journal formatting, manual proofreading, plagiarism certification (iThenticate/Turnitin), peer review, journal selection, rewriting or editing of any manuscript text.

Clause 2

After manuscript submission, ScrivaLens issues a PayPal invoice to the Client's email within one (1) business day. Work begins only after payment confirmation. Prices are in US Dollars (USD). Applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the Client.

Clause 3

Exception: If ScrivaLens fails to deliver within the agreed deadline (5 business days standard / 24 hours priority), a full refund will be issued.

Clause 4

All analyses are AI-assisted and subject to human editorial supervision before delivery. No instantaneous automated reports are issued. Standard: up to 5 business days from payment. Priority: within 24 hours. Delivery by email.

Clause 5

All submitted manuscripts are treated as strictly confidential. Manuscript files are transmitted by email to the editorial team and are not stored on the ScrivaLens server. Generated analysis reports are stored indefinitely and accessible through the Client's account. ScrivaLens will not share, publish, or reference submitted manuscripts with any third party.

Clause 6

By submitting, the Client confirms: (a) they are the legitimate author or authorized representative; (b) the manuscript has not been previously published; (c) they have reviewed the Sample Report and understand what the service covers; (d) they accept that reports are analytical tools and do not constitute peer review or guarantee journal acceptance; (e) they have read and accept this Agreement including the No Refund Policy.

Clause 7

ScrivaLens reports are advisory in nature. ScrivaLens shall not be liable for desk rejections, editorial decisions, or publication outcomes. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.

Clause 8

ScrivaLens is an independent service, not affiliated with any journal, publisher, university, or peer review organization. The ScrivaLens analysis does not substitute the official editorial processes of any journal.

Clause 9

ScrivaLens may update this Agreement at any time. The version in effect at the time of payment governs the service. Updates are posted at scrivalens.com/agreementen.php.
